Re: Too much pressure causes phone to beep

None of those I'm afraid. Notifications list is empty, screen remains off, buttons are hard to press so not likely, bluetooth is off, cortana speech recognition start has a different, higher pitched and longer "happy" chime. – 3ICE Sep 9 '17 at 23:56

Re: CraftWorld water physics bug + crash

They never replied. Fuckers.

Also, their game is dead now. I still have it on one of my two phones, but no website, no cloud saves, no wiki / online game guide, no activity anywhere.
It was a solid MineCraft rip off for phones. Free to play too!

Re: My new phone - MDA Vario III (T-Mobile)

I still have a windows phone. Two of them in fact. 950XL and 930 (Lumia) Daily drivers both. (Reply to this comment from someone else: "My 930 was probably the best phone I used at the time It was sturdy, great display, fluid (Windows 8 &10). The specs & camera were so good.") (M...

Re: Last Stand review

Part 2: "Now the game really begins!" Human NPC forces can be slaughtered. (Knights, villagers, women, even kids.) They should be invulnerable or something, for RP reasons. Quizmaster is awful. My hero is permanently stuck, no way to exit. Also the questions are not quiz-worthy. I don't k...

Re: Last Stand review

Playthrough comments, part 1: Why can I see the whole map? Nicer to reveal areas as they are unlocked, using regions and visibility modifier triggers. Chain heal has no hotkey, making healing rather difficult. I'm not used to clicking ability buttons. I press E or T for heals. Second quest in the ch...

Re: What do you do with our YouTube feedback? Can we see what we sent in so far to Google?

... And spammed 30 times: Your comment no longer shows up among the comments on Cloudflare blog. (@Moderator sorry I spam the same reply to everyone in this thread, but how else would you notify them about the old vs new disqs comments system?) They were detected as spam of course... So: disqus, ...

Re: What do you do with our YouTube feedback? Can we see what we sent in so far to Google?

Cloudflare, Would you mind adding back the newlines into your command line quotes? All the stuff in the <pre> tags got shoved into one row. It's rather hard to read them like this, all on one line. Except... Hold on, this is waiting to be approved by Cloudflare Blog. Then I realized... 130 ...

Re: No matter how clever you are, the stupidest (simple) solutions outperform the "smart" (complicated) ones.

(Yes, I am still reading the article - very informative! But...) And then you just had to go and parse the whole HTML source code (tokenizing it, etc) instead of simply lifting every /AIza[a-zA-Z0-9\-]{35}/ string with regex... Waste of processing power. Edit: So you DID use regex in the end. And ...

No matter how clever you are, the stupidest (simple) solutions outperform the "smart" (complicated) ones.

(I paused reading at the "Automating the Search" section to leave this quick comment:) Looks interesting with what's I'm sure many a clever data dump idea, but I lost some interest because the simplest, stupidest solution — splitting the search into "AIza-", "AIza0", &q...
