Widows maps: I have two icons for one app. I can't delete, I can't uninstall either, one icon has a progress bar that never completes and app refuses to open. people app shortcut - Microsoft in their infinite wisdom have elected to disable pinning the people app to start. This is a horrible design decision, as pinning it to taskbar is far less useful and wastes system resources.

For now I recommend disabling Display Enhancement Service "A service for managing display enhancement such as brightness control." Path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe -k LocalSystemNetworkRestricted -p It has no dependencies. Hotkey-based brightness control seems to work fine without it. A reboot ...
