Grand total: Just over 1 hour to import one trigger. Reminds me of myself ... getting carried away while map making.
Math: (59 + 4) / ((2 + 5) / 2) = 18
EqualiseR time is roughly 18 times slower than real time.

Re: EqualiseR time is roughly 18 times slower than real time.
Was that really necessary?
And anyways, I did get carried away. I originally intended on just taking the trigger from another one of my maps and importing it into this new map and then while I was at it I added the knights and their flying height adjustments, I added object editor values to the knights / heroes, I changed values in the jump trigger, etc. And like I said, 2-5 minutes was an invalid estimation. That doesn't mean that the work I did should have taken 2-5 minutes. It would have taken a lot longer for anybody, seeing as I spent every second of that changing values and like you said, "getting carried away" (with new ideas). In reality, it only took 30 minutes, not one hour. The grand total of one hour was including the bugs I had found after testing the map, as well as changes I found necessary to apply to the map.

And the playtesting. Those games took 15 minutes at least.

That had nothing to do with me taking '18x longer' as that was in-game testing with you.3ICE wrote:And the playtesting. Those games took 15 minutes at least.

Alright, so I assume this thread was created for humorous purposes?

Yes. That and the good memories from way back when I used to do the same.
3ICE: I'll just fix this one bug, be back in 5 minutes, don't go anywhere dear beta testers!
(Then I go and add a new unit, design a system, start working on a different map, read a tutorial, and even write a tutorial.)
4 hours later...
3ICE: Okay, it is done! ... But where is everyone?
/me time is roughly 48 times slower than real time.
