Already using it to provide bare-bones https support for 3ice.hu
Yes

Edit: Without having to pay money for a certificate... their security is seriously down-valued now. This assurance means nothing if anyone can get one, no questions asked.

Nope. It's automatic. Try the blog or the home page. Forum has problems with it so not enabled here.

The only point of it is to secure everyone's passwords when logging in/changing password so if it won't work on the forum it doesn't matter anyway.

Put the s there yourself:

Or use a "HTTPS everywhere" extension.

Fully secure now. Do you know what was wrong? I serve the site logo over HTTP. Damn Google is needlessly strict. A single meaningless picture (white on transparent background) that also works fine when requested over HTTPS, but the theme I use linked it over HTTP. Until today.
