http://forum.3ice.hu/viewforum.php?f=30 (the invisible guests-only forum) explains why. More specifically the topic: "I took out the trash", about the 1000s of spam posts I had to delete. And spam registrations. Too frustrating...

Do the terms also affect me?
or other users?

Oh no, it's just a joke EULA I wrote when I was like sixteen. Not at all legally binding or any real threat. So far I have enforced it zero times. Nobody gets banned for a typo or all caps, haha.

EULAs are usually free to be ignored, almost completely; You could use your cat's paw to click "I accept" and then the cat is bound by it, not you.

But don't ignore all EULAs; because you will get banned by, say, Blizzard, for hacking, which is against their EULA / TOS. It's an excuse they can use. But I believe their EULA specifically says they can, at will, ban any of us for any reason whatsoever. That they see fit anyway.

So, technically, yes, you clicked "I accept" when registering here. (This very same EULA has been in place as it is now, since day one of this forum, in 2008 or whenever I started it.)
So it affects you and everyone else. But it's never been enforced.

The original phpBB default EULA was a bunch of nonsense legalese, horribly long. So I overwrote it with a shortened joke EULA to lighten the bureaucracy of an open tech support community. We're not some ultra-serious politics board where death threats fly and banhammers ring every minute. Nobody fights here.

Seems like it, but are you really 3ICE?

Of course I am. Am I different? I was hoping I'd changed in a good way. Turning an ever so milder version as I age. No more thinking of a 16 years old nihilist.
