Learning the Basics

Unread post by Ava58 »

Hey ice, or anyone for that matter, can you give me some information on how to go about learning some basic programming languages? I want to learn JASS as a start but i feel like that's more of a trial and error (+ comparing GUI to converted custom script) rather than being able to seperate it into categories and learning it step-by-step. Is there a way I can go about doing that or am I just going to have to do the GUI/JASS-script comparison? Also is there one I should start learning over the others?

I started with JASS. There's not much to plan here. Just get right into the thick of it! Learn what you care about most. Even if it isn't the recommended route to take.
