Re: StarCraft2
Your screenshot-taking utility is broken. It takes the screenshot in jpg, no matter what.
Then you can save the jpg as png all you want, but it is already ruined by jpg compression artifacts and blurriness.

Re: StarCraft2
Just use bigger maps. Those borders are needed, as I already said, for padding the camera. I usually put trees there, or some rocks. (for scenery++)
Making globals is like adding a new trigger. You don't do it inside a function, you do it outside.
Right click in the box where the triggers are listed and find the appropriate button that makes you a global variable.

Re: StarCraft2
Use the Object explorer to find related items. An SC2 unit depends on a lot more things than WC3: actors, weapons, validators, movers, etc.
It is all very logical. But it is a nightmare for a new map maker to learn.

The next expansion is going to be about the zerg. They can't just kill their leader...

Re: StarCraft2
as far as im concerned ive seen more than enough of the zerg. what happened to there big plot about the hybrid?3ICE wrote:The next expansion is going to be about the zerg. They can't just kill their leader...
i think the thing that made me upset with the campaign was that they couldnt keep the story line straight. that story had more twists and turns than "The Secret Window" witch was hard enough to follow along with. I was hoping for some closure to this and instead there like oh kerrigan is alive and the zerg are fucked and the protoss did nothing to help at all. thats all that i got outa the campaign
EDIT: come on war3 =D

Okay.shinning_faith wrote:come on war3 =D
I disliked the non-linear campaign of SC2. I had to go back and do the other parts of all choice missions, I had to research in which order to complete the "planets" optimally. And I got stuck once during my Brutal playthrough, because it was unbeatable. Yes, I had to do a mission on Hard. Shame...
