Gladiators Reborn

Well since I am back into mapping, I am going all the way back to the basics and going to start with my first map ever made: Gladiators Final Stand. I am going to edit it and just buff it up with new hero ranks and new units for the director to send. Also, I will be adding special heroes for users that can find the hero secrets that will have special custom abilities.

This thread is just for any suggestions that you might want different from the original Gladiators.

One thing I notice from the original, it seems like game play is too long and boring and therefore I will be increasing hero experience.
Another is: it is always the same thing. Director always sending spiders. I am thinking to just get rid of spiders -.- or just have a bigger selection of easy creatures to send then just spiders.

Also 3ICE, I hope you can convert this map once it is done for me >.<
I will be more then gladly to pay you now-a-days since before you did it for free :D

Yay, another gladiators map! Please don't forget to add an overpowered hero named after you and many many spells that can instant kill anything. </sarcasm>

They send spiders because they give too much gold for their level. That's it.

I'll convert it only if you started with the RoC Gladiators map, not a TFT one. Payment is optional. You are a friend, not a stranger. Strangers have to pay, friends just get it for free. But i'd love to get a 21342341.21$ donation if you can afford it! (Joke, just send 10$)

haha. No, I am seriously trying to make this even for everyone. No super hero's that can kill people in one hit :D . The secret hero's I am making is not really even a secret, the players just need to beat a mini maze section to get there and if they mess up then no one will be able to get the hero's ^^

It started RoC of course, the entire map was made fresh. The only thing really I am making like the original gladiator map is the 21 hero's. Players will have the option to choose those hero's or my new hero's I have added. Everything else I am trying to make it like a real gladiator arena kinda thing. There will be all new units brown can send.

Those are good news. Nice post! But...

Today we will practice how to spell "heroes". Class, please repeat: H E R O E S. Thank you.

Suggestion: Make the sending barracks level-based so brown will know what to send first; Level 1.

You read my mind. I am actually making it so when the game starts, brown will only have 1 "barracks" to send units from, which will be called "Level 1 Easy Units" and then as time goes on, buildings that will be invisible to brown and closed off, will appear to him. So say 5-10 minutes in the game, "Level 2 Medium Units" will appear and therefore the difficulty increases for the gladiators because brown will now be able to send harder units.
