3ICE and mapping in Starcraft II

I just posted this on the battle.net forums. (A slightly different version, actually.)
If I make any maps it will be when Heart of the Swarm comes out. I already created my trigger libraries and learned all about the new features of the editor, but I'm still waiting on Blizzard to fix SC2's popularity system and stop this stagnation before I do anything really productive.
There is a serious lack of new custom maps coming out. Especially here in Europe. And I believe the reason for that is:
Blizzard alienated modders.
Half of them left because they found the editor too powerful (hard to get anything done in a timely manner) and the other half left because their maps never got played. So that leaves...
100%-50%-50%=0 map makers. Great...
My wishlist for HotS:

My wishlist for HotS:
- Flush the popularity system down the drain. Bring back the system that worked so well for map makers in WC3. Or give us an alternative that works better.
- Get rid of region lock, let us publish our maps to all regions without using workarounds such as giving the maps to other people and having them publish our work. And more importantly; let us play there!
- Stop censoring maps.
- LAN? Okay maybe we can forget LAN...
- Unlimited or at least more than 3 cliff levels.
- Support clans.
- Give us unlimited chat channels and don't punish us fast typers by deleting our messages from the input box.
